Fallout 4 has add-ons like Nuka-World (3.66 GB - $20) and Far Harbor (2.7 GB - $25) that are just massive additions. All of their official addons total $70 sold seperately, but they have a Season pass that gives you everything for $50.
All PBS dlc total 11 MB(!!!) for $307. Obviously there is a huge difference in actual content and affordability, but people here still pay for it and encourage developers to take advantage of their fanbase with minimum effort.
I'm sorry to say it, but what else can one say when they're faced with such facts?
"taking advantage" errr no you know what you're buying. The price of Fallout 4 is irrelevant. Could have bought Tomb Raider for 3$ but didn't. Why? I don't give a damn about Tomb Raider. Fallout 4 was 25$ wasted for me.
11 MB? You sure? I know how much 11 MB is that sounds like the text file with:
dlc unlock = 1 in it.
As far as the PC dlc size, excuse me, I meant to say 18 MB. It's a common practice for people of various professions to delve into game files.
If someone on Steam with PBS DLC is kind enough to correct me or confirm this with me, I'll gladly direct you to where you can view your DLC files on PC.
1. Right-click the game in your Library
2. Go to Properties
3. Under the Local Files tab, go to Browse Local Files
4. Look for a folder called DLC (It might be in a subfolder. DLC for Civ5 was in a folder called Assets, but the DLC folder for Neptunia Rebirth1 was not in a subfolder)
5. Check the DLC file sizes Thank you
Dude, I refunded this wank after a bit more of an hour of taking lewd pictures in the diarama and playing a bit.
In a world without internet and without endless ecchi hentai supply they could probably charge way more.
idk this game just makes me sad for not being able to get rapelay to run. It was entertaining thou.
I can definitely see why someone would be willing to pay a whole lot for this. Especially stuff like the Ikki Tousen dlc.
The DLC size explanation is plausible and makes more sense.
Now, we'd have issues while playing online if we all didn't have dlc data? Online issues seems to be the biggest complaint here. You might be onto something.
