Game won't start. Stuck at "CONTROLLER ADVISED"

I'm on macOS and even with my steam controller plugged in, it won't go past this screen…

Hi MurderCommiter, very sorry to hear you're having trouble launching the game :( We've just launched a new update as of yesterday--download that and let me know if that fixes your issue.

If that doesn't work, you could also try deleting your save file and launching the game again. (Users/yourName/AppData/LocalLow/TOPSTITCH GAMES/Treadnauts/Save.tank)

Let me know if you're still striking out after following those steps and I'll have some more questions for you that can help debug the issue.

I don't have that set of directories (no AppData dir)…can't find the save.tank file anywhere either. Thank you though

Oops, I told you the path for Windows! Try ~/Library/Application Support/TOPSTITCH GAMES/Treadnauts

the directory isn't there. there is a Treadnauts folder in ~/Library/Steam/steamapps/common though. maybe it never had the opportunity to create sve data? idk?
