How does this compare to 2K21?
I'm playing and enjoying 2k21. Is this game worth adding to my collection, or am I going to find it to be a less featured version of the game I'm already playing?

Thanks in advance. :HMBunny:

In my opinion it's not worth it.
2K21 is by far the best golf club game.

I've not bothered with 2019 since I got 2K21....

why cause it does everything for you at least 2019 takes some skill

It doesn't do anything for you that's any different to 2019.

Differences are.

Loads of different clubs, which have individual stats, so you can tailor the clubs to your skill level.

2019 had Beginner, Amateur and Pro clubs, that had more difficulty as you had a higher skill level but hit longer.

The 2K21 system is far better, imho.
You can have better distance, but with a reduced sweet spot, reduced accuracy etc.

Single player PGA tour mode is far better on 2K21.

Divot Derby, on 2K21.

Different clubs and rewards, unlock as you unlock sponsorship.

Multiplayer (between friends) is very good (as was 2019) but still the same problem if steam servers go down.

All in all, 2K21 is my favourite ever golf game and is far more feature complete than the 2019 version.

Remember, this is my personal opinion.

Lastly, I play without any "aids" enabled for slope, lie, wind and putting (i.e. the game doesn't automatically adjust your aim for lie, wind and slope and putting has to be judged).

2K21 sucks. No really, it's abysmal. And for anyone to say IT'S THE BEST GOLF SIM EVER! they must have never played any of the early Tiger Woods' games. 2019 is better graphically and requires much more skill. 2K21 let's you win and the graphics look weird. I dunno for me 2019 all day, but both kinda suck tbh. For being 2022 you'd think we have a really decent and realistic golf game by now!

I like 2019 better.
Thank you.

Too many assists with 2k21. 2019 you had to learn how to read the swing for each club and shot type by "feel" like real golf. No swing meter, which I prefer

But can't you turn all that stuff off and pretty much make it the same as this game in terms of challenge? I was assuming that was the case.
Just curious....I have it wishlisted and am waiting for the next 20$ sale. I probably waited too long. Now that 23 is out, 21 will probably never go on sale again.
If not, I'm perfectly happy playing another couple of seasons on 2019 this coming winter. Except for that stupid Nomad course.

Some of you posting here GET IT with certainty. 2019 took skill and was rewarding for that skill. There is no button you press to show you the path your ball will take.

To Mondyrocks - Absolutely not - Golf Club 2019 requires skill and feel, is FAR better than the tie your shoes for you, pat your bottom with baby powder 2k21 FOR CERTAIN.

You forgot three very important words.
"In my opinion"....

I'll stay with 2019 myself. The 21 version went down in gameplay and swing control, and
more toward promoting PGA Tour players, so it's more a commercialized version instead of a better game.
I decided after getting 2K21 that I would stay with 2019, so I haven't bothered to
look at the latest version, other than the ads. Looks about the same, but they must think
having Tiger on the cover will sell better than JT.

Sorry to resurrect this thread for a moment. I have 2k21 and found it fun and relaxing but I have seen keys for this game go for below 1$ so, is it worth playing if I already own 2k21?

Yes! And if you can get it cheap, that much better. You can actually control shot and putt length much better, so it is way more player friendly.
