I've practiced all of this. The game is inconsistent. Thanks for writing me off.
The game looks amazing but unity is notoriously bad for optimisation and a lot of players who have problems should try lowering their settings and trying again.
Frame drops, even small ones, will affect shot consistency.
I'm on master clubs now and it's very rewarding when you get it right :)
As tee2green says, the only problem is the lack of back spin.
Also, stick to hbo official courses early on :)
Not sure where your coming from, but to address your OP the game is so predictable(game controller)that I can predict the exact landing spot to withinn a foot or too for all shots.
Really once you know the math its the same every time, if you dont pay attention to green settings, fairway firmness and such before you start round I can see where you might think its RNG from round to round.
I do it most my games. Only way to learn is to play right. The first 4 round in this game I sucked large hooking and slicingevery shot. By the 5th round I had figured out the golf swing and the game got better from there. So bascally those that are not willing to learn are only left with the crying about it option.
Yes I have noticed the wind is a bit messed up it's either there in play or not at all. I've adjusted for 8 mph wind only to have it go as if it was either 0 mph or 20 mph. So I'm not sure if it's the way the player create the course or not. Perhaps some sort of wind grid options to see if a wind is actually there and how strong it is?
