Controller bug

in career mode i can't seem to swing my club properly, it takes up to about 10 attempts for the club to swing with the right stick, does anyone have a fix? i looked on google and there is a alot of people with the same problem ranging from different pads but no response from the dev.

I'm using a Affterglow third party Xbox One controller (wired)

Is this only in career mode...? In other words, it works fine in casual, pvp etc...?

If that's the case then I've no idea at all but as a not entirely ideal suggestion, you could always change your gamepad. I use a Logitech F310 which is fine and only costs about £25

Yeah it seems to only be in career mode, i googled it and people where having the same problem with different pads, ps4 official pads, xbox one official, and 1 other with the same pad as i'm using

Weird. Only really play pvp but will have a quick gander at career mode next chance I get, and see what occurs with the Logitech

yeah let me know mate, i was playing pvp no problem, but can't progress in career with the controller

Hello again, mate. Just completed the Sand Dune Classic with no problems at all (other than my actual golfing, of course....). And no doubt you'll have updated drivers and fiddled with settings and all that techie malarkey, so I guess it can only be a bug concerning console gamepads...?

yeah everythings up to date, it could well be that its cos its a console pad mate, i'll keep searching for a ffix

this bug is bugging me now....have you tried Steam Settings, Controller config options..? I'm sure I read something somewhere about the Big Picture mode, but I'm buggered if I know where...

been to busy with work at the mo, but will let you know if i find a fix, it is literally in career mode only, cos if i do a round with real life mates, no problem at all in local or multi.

Have you tried that same course outside of career mode? Maybe your system is struggling with that course your stuck on.

Yeah have played that course, I'm have a 2080ti and 3800x and 16gb of DDR 4 3200, so don't struggle on any

just thought i'd bump since its a month later, after tons of googling i have found this is a very common problem with all the golf club games and there seems to be no fix, which has put me off buying the new one, so after trying one last time tonight i have decided to uninstall the game.
