solution...dont hit into the water..lol
On the bottom of the screen you are given two options.
One is to accept the default generated placement or you can click the other option.
From here you can declare the placement unplayable and you will then be taken back to the place where you hit into the hazard from initially or you can click the placement area and toggle the arrows from here. Then you can use A,W,S or D to move the default generated placement to another location at the edge of the hazard
