Building a Golden Tee style arcade cabinet using The Golf Club and would like some input.

Hi all,

I just ordered all the parts to do this and just picked up TGC2. From what I've gathered, that's the better of the two for this type of project. I realize this is the community for 2019, but the TGC2 forums are dead so I'm hoping I can get some replied from over here.

I've mulled over the keyboard/mouse controls and I figured I'd get some input from the community on button layout.

What standalone buttons do you think need to be present to play TGC2 with just a trackball and arcade buttons?

Man I tried to figure this out when the original game came out. Had been playing a ton of golden tee, and looked into buying the home version. But daaaaaaamn they are proud of those! Which I could maybe justify in my head. But then the $100 a year PLUS the price of the yearly updates just made it stupid. Long story short, if you get this lined out I would LOVE to know how ya set it up man!

I finally finished the cabinet. I ended up buying a copy of Tiger Woods 08' just in case TGC becomes too much of a pain using this control scheme, but maybe it'll get some attention on their forums because it came out amazing. I wish I could post pictures here.
