Game is unplayable with controller since patch 1.03

Since the update in mid-December, the game has become unplayable with controller. I have tried 3 different gamepads always the same.
before the patch you could almost always reach perfect up and down now as soon as the shot is made slower the ball flies 30 to 50 meters to the right. Many players have this problem because of this and please patch this awful update back to make the game fun again.

I use an xbone controller and I can honestly say that I'm not having a problem :)

i have played with the old Logitech Rumble gamepad and after patch 1.03 it was no more playable then i buy the Logitech F710 the same problems and since yesterday i have also the new Logitech F310 and same desaster like the others. No more perfect shots in game !!

I have also had the F710 and at the beginning also problems that the ball flies to the right. New installation and callibration helped. You should also make sure that you have the perfect swing speed twice.

the gamepads have been reinstalled several times and everything is perfect in the calibration. as i said i only have these problems since patch 1.03 has been installed. before everything was fine

I would return the new Logitech and get an officially supported Microsoft or Sony controller. Those Logitech controller don't have the sensitivity needed for precise inputs for a golf swing to be played as intended. Evidently the patch tweaked the tempo enough that the controller can't match it.

The F710 works very well for me now. For more fine tuning use https://www.x360ce.com for Deadzone and Sensitivity etc...

Now I have ordered an xbox one controller.
Delivery is Friday. I will then report if it works better.

I'm using an xbox controller and yes, I'm having issues. Sometimes my shots go straight, and sometimes they are wildly left or right even though I hit the ball correctly. I notice the freeze on the backswing occasionally as well. This is just ridiculous. Get it together Devs!

I received the new xbox one today but have the same problems as with the other controllers like F310 or F710 as well as the older Rumble Pad 2. The game has been patched broken since mid-December it's just rubbish for me. Give me my money back or fix this problem as soon as possible.

I find this really strange cos I'm having no problems with the same controller as you?
How are your pc specs, low, medium, high??
Just thinking if your specs are low it might be causing lag on your controller input?

Yes m8, you won't be struggling with that set up but something is causing you lag, or at least that's what it sounds like.
Have you got any other controllers plugged in, besides keyboard and mouse??

The tempo window was tightened up slightly but don't think it was enough for most to even notice it. I'm thinking you were probably on the border of slow with your tempo before the change.

Try altering your timing from back to forward to just before Animation reaches the top of it's swing. Timing at top and the ratio between back/forward also effect timing. It's not a simple and straight forward swing mechanics. You need to find that right rhythm and timing to get proper tempo.
