3 click system implemented ?

can anyone verify what i already think is the case, that they still will not implement this old skool system for the pc gamer. i know its a sim, but it would be nice to switch between options.

if i wanted a real experience wouldnt i go out and play real golf, better still play

so using your logic, stop playing because there are better experiences using AUG reality and the above system packages. If i was on a wii i would use a wii controller. if i was on a console i used a controller. I choose to use a PC, hence the reason i use a mouse and keyboard. Devs need to stop porting ♥♥♥♥ games over to PC and write them for the PC. If i wanted to play an android/ios version of the game i'd play that on them platforms, not ported to the pc.

No option to play 3 click means no purchase, so i will pass again on this bad port, the 3rd in the series.

3 click is not how the game is made and think. Their is a motion mechanics skills in this game, either with your hand or thumb. You can miss right or left, this part of the variance is the game.
If you want a 3 click golf game this is not this one.

And the argument of :" if I would want to play with a controller I would play on console" ... Do you think that PC players racing on Formula 1 game play with keyboard and mouses?

Plug-in a controller on your PC is not blasphemous, it work very well, plug an play.
Why not trying new way to play? Why not try to challenge yourself to try master a new method.
You will not get sick grabbing a controller in your hand, we will not force you to play your FPS with a controller.
Give it a try a like Vackillers did. You never know, you may like it. Don't worry we won't tell anybody.
Once you start to be good, the feeling of swinging the ball with the stick is awesome.

You want an old gameplay mechanics that cannot work in this game and would be unfair for player playing the game the way it was designed. It since the core of the game is online tournament it cannot work.

But if in your mind, you can only play a golf game with 3 click method, this not this one. No need to blast the devs for a mechanics that is not compatible with how the game was designed.

How would put 3 click in this game? it would be like cheating! tempo would be always perfect! yes you might get a little push and pull at the end of your shot but tempo always perfect

Go get a cheap controller, they always shoot straight due to simpler components in their analog pots, adjust the deadzone and you always shoot straight, have a sensitive PS/Xbox/Other controler can make it more tricky. So only thing a controller use need is concistancy in their speed witht the thumb. So controll users is more likley to be accused to using cheat since it's possible to shoot straight 100% with a controler. I can do that with my cheap (150peson on Philipines, 3-5 $) controler. So for mouse users just adjust your Axes in logitecs program set Y axes to 200 dpi x to whaterver suits u for shoot speed. Very hard not to shoot straight.
3 Click is all about timing, set up a macro wow then you will never miss the 100% powershots...
What I'm ranting about is, if you want to play "unfair" there is always people that will find ways to do it on.

Shooting straight is fairly easy on a pad. It's the thumb speed that's tricky. (at least, in my experience).

I come from the absolute earliest days of PC golf games. I understand why people clamor for this. It's just how it was done with golf sims. To me, 3 clicking feels archaic after using a gamepad with TGC games. It would also make scoring invalid as 3 click is so much easier than "feel".

Not having the 3 click method is kind of the entire thing that sets this apart. It looks pretty nice but not next level. It has broken ball physics but I still like it.

I guess you don't know that all games for any device are designed on a PC then ported over.
Bottom line the analog swing mechanics of this game will not work with 3 Click, Period.

Every new game has this same thread in its forums and they have not added any meters or click systems so your most likely wasting your time complaining about this.

Imo it would be good if they gave you a few options for controls, so it would match the requirements of more players and would be fighting the game less and enjoying it. Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure that 3 clickers want to play with 3 clickers, but the developers simply want people to play their way and no other way that the players might want to play.

It is a shame, they could be making more money. Instead people have to resort to using straight edges to gain an advantage. 3 click, straight edge, it's the same damn thing only one makes people think they are soooo good at it and the other is meant to make people think they are inadequate.

Wake up developers, wake up.
