directx 8 not supported!!

the game does not start as I have directx 12 with a modern video card and windows 10.
Ridiculous that army men bundle or all the games in the series work perfectly with compatibility with windows xp.
How to solve to make army men rts work?

If you have an AMD graphics card, then they've recently stopped being able to support this game. The solution is to rollback your AMD graphics drivers to an older version.

Just bought the whole Army Men set.

Started up Army Men RTS and went to the folder
\Steam\steamapps\common\Army Men RTS\library\dbg.

One micro second after renaming "dbghelp.dll" to "dbghelp.dll.OLD",
the game came right up.
