No, that is wrong. You can't swap back while it's pocket reloading. Even if there is still a little bit of ammo left, I can't use it just because it's doing unwanted automatic pocket reloading. Especially the gun has a long reload speed, you have to wait a very long time, which makes you very vulnerable in very urgent situations, and it's genuinely annoying. Pocket reloading should be an option, or I must be able to stop it immediately after switching weapons.

If that's true, then the game can't handle the multiple inputs correctly. I reinstalled this game several times before and also easily beated G4.
I had a similar issue(probably posted in this community) with the grappling hook: It doesn't work quite often, making me unable to dodge enemy attacks(especially fatal boss attacks), and it causes unfair death moments A LOT.
I mostly use two weapons, the primary as the main weapon for dealing and 2nd for summoning stuff(even before buffing the summons).
For me, the secondary is just for summoning stuff, not dealing damage, but I encountered an issue that I can't switch back to primary after deploying sentry(or robot) with secondary alt fire quite often, and I always have to wait a certain amount of time to switch back to primary. Let you think, you can deal massive damage with a primary weapon, but suddenly, only you can do is swing the minion box and shoot sucks kangaroo sentry as a gun. Weapon swaps just don't work.
I thought that the pocket reloading caused this sht, so that's why I requested to add an option to disable this stuff. But if you guys can switch to the weapon while even it's pocket reloading, then it implies that this game can't handle inputs properly, which I faced a lot. Literally A LOT.
