Also we're trying to find the source of the issue but so far we're not finding a way to fix it. We're continuing our investigation, sorry for the inconvenience.
This is really a run-ending bug and I think it should be fixed.
More often than not I end up keeping the click pressed and switching weapons with the keyboard without ever letting go, so I don't risk being left defenseless by the bug. Of course that doesn't work with precision weapons.
Workarounds appreciated.
Have you tried switching to 'Fullscreen' display settings rather than 'Windowed'?
You can also try hitting Alt/P when launching the game in order to force-fullscreen.
If the issue persists, it means this has something to do with an issue we're trying hard to track down and fix but to no avail for now unfortunately.
We're sorry you're experiencing this issue :(
One more game that this has happened to me in is Smite, and I can't help but notice that it also is made with the unreal engine.
Hopefully the devs fix this very critical core issue, because otherwise, the game is amazing!!
Granted I do use custom keybinds, but they don't effect my left click, and I never had the issue even before the changed keybinds.
Things I've tried, in various combinations:
* Fullscreen
* No background programs which aren't minimized to notifications area
* Single monitor instead of dual
* Native monitor resolution instead of supersampled
* V-Sync on/off
* Frame rate limited to varying degrees
* Triple and Double Buffering
It occurs to me now I can try PowerToys' always-on-top function, which I'll be doing next, though I'm more inclined to think there's some sort of anti-cheat backend which is interfering somewhere (do you guys have any sort of anti-cheat baked into the game...?)
I'm playing the game on Gamepass.
Edit: using the always-on-top function didn't have any effect. I also tried moving my secondary monitor such I have to very carefully move my cursor up through the top-left corner of my screen, but it doesn't seem to be an issue of my mouse going on an adventure 'out of bounds' either, and fullscreen with no secondary monitor would alleviate that issue in any case, which it doesn't.
YA-OH
This is STILL an issue 2 years later my guy.
Get your ♥♥♥♥ together....
