I don't play that many Roguelike / Lite games because I don't really like this Genre to be honest.
I only play Roboquest because it's a FPS and it's bit more casual with the roguelite aspect.
But all of the Roguelike / Lite games I've played so far, all of them has a " save " when you quit the game.
You will just return to wherever you left off or least the level and you don't have to start from scratch and lose all progress...
Nightmare Reaper
Hades
Enter the Gungeon
Slay the Spire
Children of Morta
I will continue and go for another run if I can just save the progress mid way but I had to just quit the game and maybe do it later or next session.
Weeeeell.. Ahem..? ;)
Nice I've recently completed my 2nd run, even though only 45 mins.
But it was exhausting, an exit save checkpoint would be nice.
lol.....I think if I do try to do it within 30 mins it will feel even more exhausting !
but I really don't care bout like getting fastest time etc.
I just wanna have fun. It's a SP game guys....I have my sweaty moments, but I do it online against real people......where things are dynamic...
Not in a SP which you suppose to just have fun and get much out of it, you paid for the game....
If it ever comes it may as well be years from now/at end of dev cycle.
I'm no longer a child and I can just sit down and start gaming non stop without interruptions...
