Planet exploded?

So I was playing the best start I ever had, and suddenly the planet just exploded? I have no idea what happened, all I remember I went through a portal and found some green ticket, did not see any timer and it suddenly happened, anyone can help me?

Probably a big yellow bar at the top of your screen that you missed.
Once this yellow bar reaches zero you get the "explosion" cutscene that ends the run yes you had to reach the end and defuse the bomb; there is multiple scenarios those are like "survive/speedrun" areas.

yeah had it happen to me to with no warning about it. Not my favorite thing in the updates

Yeah there's a time limit indicated by a little tiny clock that you may not even notice if you're concentrating on fighting

would've been super easy to have Max warn you about it before you go in, but they went with tiny clock instead

I agree the numbers are small for that clock but it's hard to miss the big yellow bar at the top I think.. I guess it depends but yea there's also another number indicating how far you are from the objective
