I like Kramer for get in your face burn damage and Arctic Rifle for that spread fire and chilling effect. Generally, weapons with elemental effects are much more fun to use in the game, I think.
Don't get me wrong, Grandma's is a good weapon, but I like the Blunderbuzz better.
The shock cannon version of beluga too, forgot its name, although that one is more single target focused and has almost no aoe.
Outside of that, i'll almost always take Beluga Cannon, Voltaic Rifle and Dual Boomsticks.
If you find a decent green Beluga early enough, at the very least you can expect it to carry you through early\midgame.
This run gave me a new respect for the Typhoon Minigun. The key items here are CD, Stone Block and Credit Card. Permanent +80% firerate while never overheating and Cryo Mastery and Cryo Weapon gives me 100% crit chance on every enemy. Melted every room and boss fights in seconds without even needing to aim. Absolutely busted run, so fun.
