how do i get jetpack now?

HALP i cant stand looking at unreachable datapacks anymore

you can reach a lot, if not most without. i barely used it in the past.
but i think it might be like other gadgets, unlocked through a "quest".

Not sure yet, but right now your best bet is unlocking recon and then going datapack hunting. Blink is a life saver.

well, there were no quests before, so...

the game also just came out, so we are all finding stuff out new again. so it will take a moment until we can answer all questions. i already found the Shorts... but since a lot of things are randomized, there will be things that can not be answered directly.

You have to give the nose piece pick up item to the bot inside the ticket room ( the place with all the rooms that can only be unlocked by colored tickets) to unlock jetpack.

A lot of them can be reached with "rocket jumping" using Engineer's Blaster or Commando's Rocket abilities, weapons with the Rocket Jump alt fire, or Explosive weapons.

There is also a gadget you can get in The Quarry by finding a robot up high and giving it a hug. It lets you charge a super tall jump by crouching (jumps high enough to get to the door behind the Keypad door)

Don't remember the exact level name. But it's a chapter 2 safe room ( I think the same room with the bot you can unfreeze) and there is a locked door. Once you unlock that door, go that route and you'll eventually hit another safe room with a jump puzzle and it's up there.
