long black screen?

anyone having a black screen that lasts for like at least 5 mins before the menu showing?

Many people are experiencing that.

It's a problem we're aware of and we'll try to improve this first loading time or add a better feedback to indicate that something is actually happening.

There's no way around it right now, sorry.

Though it should only occur the first time you run the game after starting your computer, if that's not the case please tell me.

out of curiosity why does it do this?
Sounds like something is loading permanently into memory if it fixes it by restarting

the long black screen happens to me everytime i run the game not just the first time i run it

Are the other loading times as long? (the ones to get into the levels)

No I'm saying that the long black screen happens to me when I first run the game and if I close the game and run it again the black screen will happen again

level loading times are normal more than normal they are good only the one that lasts long is when you first run the game

It happens to me randomly. Just a black screen, music still on. Both of my monitors just off. Does not happen with any other games right now.
