While I'm glad that someone can enjoy the game, not all are thrilled to be a paying alpha tester for the eventual real release on consoles. OS had a testing period for backers and seemed to have completely ignored all the feedback from that. It only took a major tanking of reputation to prompt the inclusion of a save feature in a post-release update when that was a topic of discussion since 2015 and was also brought up during the backer testing period.
Yeah, I'm actually both and for good reason. This isn't some free game. The devs don't get a pass for TRYING to fix the game. They accepted peoples money for the game and instead of delivering a working product, they gave us this mess of a game which they've shown they're incapable of fixing. Literally every patch has broken more than its fixed and I'm not talking minor things. Some players cant pick up runes needed for spells, some gates dont open when you hit their switch, loading saved games auto completes missions, magic doesnt regenerate in some areas, there are holes EVERYWHERE in levels leading outside of the levels.
The devs haven't been working with the players. Most of the bugs still in the game were reported as early as the backer beta. The devs ignored litterally every feedback from the beta and released the EXACT same version of the game for the official release. Thats not a hyperbole or exageration. Instead of communicating with us they just release a bunch of PR statements with non answers.
We were supposed to recieved weekly messages from the devs on the state of the game but the last one only said "While were working to fix the game, keep up for another message from us soon." It was litterally a message that said to wait for another message. It had no other information than that.
The devs also blamed US for the reason why the game came ou the way they did, saying we failed to understand the game they were trying to pitch. Now, theyre beging the community to QA test and submit bug reports for a game that officially launched. If this was released in earlly access, I wouldn't have a problem. Instead they released the broken beta version of the game for their official release. Patches as simple as localization updates have broken major features of the game.
I'm not alone in terms of feeling this way. You're welcome to browse many of the other posts here and youll see that just about every member here is just as upset as I am. I'll calm down when they give me my money back.
If it gets better (and I mean a LOT better), I'll play - and if/when I do, I'll be glad to do what I can to help out with your achievement guide.
(Collision's right, however: so far, they seem to be breaking more than they're fixing.)
There's also http://underwiki.com/wiki/Feats - which has considerable overlap.
