How long to beat the game?
Hi!

How long to beat and how long including all sidequests?

Any roadmap for the game?

Yeah I personally spent 35 hours lol but I take my time with strategy games, I've also seen as few as 13 hours. So somewhere in the middle of that (large) range!

The game is roughly ~25-30 hours long, with side battles (and some secret items/characters/cutscenes!) available through the Tavern.

Roadmap wise we'll focus on gathering any additional feedback and possible bugs / squashing and fixing those, and then talk about possible DLC / free updates after that!

Thanks for the prompt response! Appreciate that!

A rougelike gamemode/DLC is always a really good way to add replay value, just saying. I would frankly LOVE to see an interesting rougelike mode in a game like this. Start a run with 1-3 generated characters, have chances to recruit a bigger army later, and just play through a bunch of battles until you're out of characters?

Oh man that would be fantastic...

Oooh that actually DOES sound pretty cool! Love that concept for a tactical RPG, a sort of ironman mode :D

I might just be desperate for new fresh rougelikes, hahahaha.

Would be sick to see palace of the dead / dungeon of the deep style content for this game if there isnt already

Reviews are saying 15 hours and for main story and side quests done

lol reviewers skip cutscenes, put the game on lowest difficulty to blast past combat and skip most side quests(regardless of whether they say they did them or not). so i can see them beating the game in a shorter time

15 hours sounds like rushing tbh I can't imagine it's not longer.

No reason to be hostile about it. If you can beat the game within 15 hours then that's an option.

I have seen a handful of reviews saying 12 and 15 hours. It's quite odd given that it should take twice as much. Did they review the early access?

The review copies were the full game.

Day one Steam reviews suggest it's about a half hour.

I joke, though. I just don't appreciate negative reviews from people who've barely played the game. People are so whiny and entitled these days that it's not a respectable practice to write a review after minutes with a game.

On topic, I love the idea of a tactics game that isn't excessively long. 12-30 hours sounds great.

I feel the opposite, I like to invest and build up my party for many hours and towards the end of the journey they feel almost like my buddies and we been through a lot- thats why ogre tactics or ff tactics is such a gem.

Yeah, I think most people feel the opposite. That is the norm.
