Eiyu*Senki - The World Conquest

Eiyu*Senki - The World Conquest

Are there any guides?
There's one on Game Faqs which is based on the PS3 verison - it seems to be roughly accurate and I've found it useful. Any thoughts?

As far as I know, you can use the guide without any problem. The story content between the steam and ps3 version should be the same.

Not sure why you would use a guide for your first playthrough but the PS3 version is just the same but slightly more censored.

Why I'd use a guide? Mostly because the game doesn't do a good job of explaining the mechanics.

Actually it seems there's a PDF file that comes with the digital download that has most of the info I need - not sure if there's any way to get it on JAST website or somewhere else though.

I think i can upload this for you, JASTUSA should not see it as anything bad as its just the scanned manual for the game, weir you dont have it on steam. Or maybe its there but you didnt chech the game folder.

Otherwise i dont see a need for the manual, you can check during a fight which unit is good or bad against enemy unit. Item effects are mostly easy to understand. Also a guide impies you are looking more or less for a Walkthrough and not for info on the game.

well there were a couple questions I had that I couldn't figure out - like how to recruite a couple characters, so the guide did tell me that, also what order to attack in isn't always clear - after unlocking Hawaii, I've gone after one of the harder ones not realizing it

Ther order is not explained even in the manual but i can write you and order to get all the difficulty items. Also why would you need a guid to recruit characters, they are recrutied automatically by doing story mode, there really no character which gets recruited other way.

The GameFaq guide sort of puts things in order - as for characters you won't "just get" - Magoroku Kanemoto and Archimedes at least. Maybe more but I don't want to read too far ahead. I guess if you just played you'd get Magoroku, but you have to purposely leave 1 million gold to get Archimedes.

From what i see if you would do character quest for every character to level up their relationships with the protagonist you get the items needed for Magoroku, and Archimedes is the only actually harder to get character cause you need to have 1 million gold for her mission to appear. Otherwise rest joins if you do all quest that pop up.

One of the proper ways to get all difficulty items is here http://eiyuuwiki.wikidot.com/wiki:difficulty-bonus-items, but i did macedonia before oceania, belive me when i say its way easier than, yes it will be a challenge to do it, but they are far more challenging if you do oceania and hawaii first cause their difficulty will scyrocket, also dont waste time on Gordion, even if you somehow manage to beat the units there, you will get chased out and the events will repeat all over again each time you try to do it. Its a waste of time cause you cant get this city other than taking Alexandria and conquering Macedonia this way.

The only ones I did out of order were Hawaii (which was easy) and Vinland (which was crazy hard for me, but I managed to muddle through it).
Asakura Shinichi Nov 12, 2017 @ 3:13pm
Doing Vinland before Inca is okay, after doing India as first the rest of the difficulty items seem easy to get. India was hard cause you had not to many heroes. You can take down Vinland in one turn not letting them any chance to move or restore units. Also its good to not spend your money on any units restoring, after you conquer something start doing the character sidequests and let your units to recover naturally, use money only to upgrade, half of your units will be at around 4000 ARMS when you get to Vinland, which will make taking them in one turn easy.

I'm nowhere close to 4000 - maybe 10 at 3000 the rest in the 2000's - but I just completed Egypt - I'm pretty much burning turns to get the million for Archemdes, lol - after that I can upgrade a few characters that I use the most before I go after Incas.

Archimedes: Have Aristotle in the party and have over 1,000,000 gold available (spent money does not count towards this).

Atlas: Clear all of Da Vinci's side quests.

Cambyses: Defeat the EU.

Charlemagne: Defeat the EU and declare war on Britannia.

Copernicus: Complete all of Ivan and Rasputin's side quests to max out their affections.

Diogenes: A mission about going fishing will unlock during the campaign against the Illuminati.

Faust: Complete all of Da Vinci's side quests and have Chihaya's troops be greater than 4,000.

Galileo: Conquer Austrailia, Europe and clear the mission to make preparations to invade Britannia.

Magoroku Kanemoto: Complete all of the side quests involving Benkei searching for her 1,000th weapon and restoring the Silk Road routes.

Sasaki Kojiro: Conquer Europe and invade the Dark Realm.

Uesugi Kenshin: Complete all side quests involving Himiko, Yoshitsune, Oda Nobunaga, Yamato Takeru, Inou Tadataka, and Benkei to max out their affections.

From what i see only Archimedes can be missied even if you do all sidequests. Otherwise all are just unlocked automatically by progressing though the story, be it main plot or sidequests.
