If this is the case, then shouldnt we be getting the gold version on steam then?
I assume all they did was port the PlayStation version for this... Gold is almost more of a sequel or 1.5 at least, it's even an alternate story. Would be a lot of work to release it since it would all need translated as opposed to just porting this.
Or is Gold more like a Remake of the original game?
GOLD has the same story premise but the story goes differently. Its more like a Eiyuu Senki 1.5 sequel. So it makes sense to play this first and then GOLD to see what has changed.
Well , like i wrote they are different stories. You have the same characters ( + new ones) in GOLD but the story goes in totally new directions. So its more of "What if?" alternative scenario.
You could theoretically start with both of them if you know neither but i think its more fun to first play this, because it makes the story changes from GOLD more interesting.
Quite honestly I hope they bring gold state side. I wanna play it so badly and be able to truly understand the characters.
Maybe if this version sells well enough.
