What's the difference between Eiyuu*Senki GOLD and this one?

GOLD has a alternative storyline. So its not really an updated version but a different take on the story of the normal Eiyuu Senki.

Thanks for clarifying.

there are characters here that don't have h scens but all of them will have h scenes on Gold.

Not true. There's actually a number of girls in eiyuu senki gold that don't have H scenes. There's just far more characters that do compared to the original.

Gold also vastly improves the combat mechanics and item options in the game as well as added bonus points that can be spent upgraded for playthroughs after the first kinda like Sengoku Rance. All in all Gold is a huge upgrade and really wish they would translate it since it's a vastly superior game.

If this is the case, then shouldnt we be getting the gold version on steam then?

I assume all they did was port the PlayStation version for this... Gold is almost more of a sequel or 1.5 at least, it's even an alternate story. Would be a lot of work to release it since it would all need translated as opposed to just porting this.

So Gold and regular are almost two different games to experience? Should play them both seperatly?

Or is Gold more like a Remake of the original game?

GOLD has the same story premise but the story goes differently. Its more like a Eiyuu Senki 1.5 sequel. So it makes sense to play this first and then GOLD to see what has changed.

It better to wait for the gold edition or go ahead and play the current one?

Well , like i wrote they are different stories. You have the same characters ( + new ones) in GOLD but the story goes in totally new directions. So its more of "What if?" alternative scenario.
You could theoretically start with both of them if you know neither but i think its more fun to first play this, because it makes the story changes from GOLD more interesting.

Not sure about this one but I got Gold and I really love it especially Perry she's my favorite waifu.
Quite honestly I hope they bring gold state side. I wanna play it so badly and be able to truly understand the characters.

So will we ever get gold?

Maybe if this version sells well enough.
