Thank you, I'll keep that in mind.
I was wondering this, too. Honestly, at this point I'd like to get this simply to rework the original game's dialogue. The world building and characters are interesting and hold a lot of promise so I suffered through the dialogue for the sake of the story and the game. But a lot of the dialogue itself isn't written how real people talk in English and some of it comes off very odd or more like an essay than a sentence someone would say or a conversation someone would have in real life.
In addition, some of the characters lack their own individual flare and talking styles. This is not always an issue but sometimes it sounds like the characters are talking to themselves or it is hard to tell who is actually speaking because it just seems like one long paragraph of dialogue broken up by scene changes rather than two different people talking. In fact, sometimes the way things are said you'd mistake their speech pattern for one character only to realize that you think the other person was the one actually saying that.
I'm sure this is more of an English language translation issue because the visuals are too gorgeous and the world-building is too deep and layered for the dialogue not to have been much more polished in the original language version. Obviously, even if the modding support is only for custom content that would be awesome. But being able to do custom language patches to touch up some of these translations and liven up that portion a bit would be cool, too.
But either way, I hope you guys keep up the hard work and pump out more stuff in the future! AoG was a great starting point for sure. :)
Да, мы решили, что в данный момент это нецелосообразные траты ресурсов команды, увы.
