Most welcome! :) Although, a very strange thing happened just a bit ago... I was playing the game again and I went to the Essential upgrades, but this time the Micro Rail was not there. (?) I thought, "Am I crazy? It was here, was it not?" I don't know if it's a bug or what. I might play again and try the sandbox mode, see if it shows up there.
Hmm... please do. I can't find it either. When I first ran into the problem, my first thought was "oh, I just need a different rail, or to put this rail underbarrel or something", and I couldn't find any way to do that. I still can't, even after you've said there's a micro rail. If you find it again, please let me know, I'm still stumped :/
Okay, so I did some trial and error, and it seems that if you go into the Upgrades and then the Essential category, if you don't see the Micro Rail (it should be the furthest left selection) then go back out to the main screen (with the map of the shooting ranges) and choose a different gun, but preferrably one that doesn't have a built-in rail under the barrel, like the M9, for example.
Then go back into the Upgrades > Essential, and the Micro Rail should appear. (You may need to page all the way to the left to find it because sometimes the Essential category picks a random starting item.) If the Micro Rail does appear, go back to the map screen again, choose the M1911, and go back into Upgrades > Essential and equip the Micro Rail. Or, you can spawn one on the table, then go back and choose the M1911 and just manually put the Micro Rail on it.
You might have to fiddle with it a bit, but it has something to do with changing your selected weapon. There have been times when I changed to the M1911 and the Micro Rail still didn't appear, so I had to go back and change to a different gun *again* to get it to appear. It's wonky and I can't reproduce it every time, so just give it a try. Good luck! :)
