MIC NOT WORKING - Oculus Quest 2 Link

Dont ask why Im using Pop one on steam with a quest 2 that has link, short answer is I didnt know there was a friend code system. Anyways, my mic hasnt been picking up anything at all in game, and ive tried just about everything to get it working with no avail.

I don't know if we have the same problem but I have the same setup and this happens to me a lot both in this and vr chat the first time I start the vr.
I managed to solve it by restarting the oculus link (cosing steamvr and replugging the cable) and then by going in the oculus link settings and toggling the mic off and then back on (not sure if any of these steps are required but it worked every time)

if your mic isn't working using link cable you must go to the back of you PC or wherever you have the cable plugged into and unplug it and plug it in do this as many times until the mic is very good way to tell if the mic is working is to open up windows 10 voice recorder as it will sync up to whatever mic you have set as default and you will see it move when you speak
