No longer opening through SteamVR/openVR?
So 2 days ago, this program would open through SteamVR and OpenVR, allowing me to capture gameplay with streamlabs OBS under "openVR" as a source. I could also use OVR toolkit to overlay my stream chat while playing.

yesterday, this all changed, the software no longer opens through steam and instead, launches through Oculus Link and the Oculus software, causing it to not be capture in streamlabs, AND not having OVR toolkit overlay anything due to steamvr/openvr not being the source that its run through.

Does anyone have a workaround for this? or is the Quest 2 and Oculus brand just that trash?

I'm having the exact same problem, but I'm on Oculus Rift CV1. I have no solution to fixing it, but I'd like a solution just as much as you.

YES PLEASE! This game needs an option to launch through SteamVR or Oculus.

Population One: Add "-vrmode openvr" command line switch

This doesn't seem to work as of right now. I have a Rift CV1, I added "-vrmode openvr" in the launch option, I made sure SteamVR / OpenVR was selected for OpenXR instead of Oculus under the advanced / developper options, and yet it launches under Oculus instead of SteamVR.

Is there still a functionnal way to make this work?

Edit : Found it, had to enable "Disable Oculus API" under the OVR Advanced Settings! Now I can use Push to talk.
