I am having lots of issues controlling the game. I was not able to figure out how to invert the Y-axis, as I have a lot of trouble playing games that reverse the camera direction. Then there's a lot of buttons that don't seem to work as they should. I am having trouble finding a configuration setup in the game....

In the guide it says to stare at a Twinkling star, but I don't know where to find it and where do you go after that?

Before each level the game gives me an error. I ignore it and move on but some levels lag very badly. I am above recommended requirments.

Can i invert the mouse y-axis?

I found a page in Nowhere III on the main path that turned the stage dark, gave me a flashlight, and told me to find 3 more pages. At the time, I wasn't able to find any of the other pages, so, wanting to progress instead with the main story, I tried to
