Copyright infringement on game assets belonging to EA's Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

The following e-mail has been sent to EA's copyright department after finding out FoW uses assets for which the developer(s) do not hold the legal copyright.


To whomever it may concern,

A publisher has brought out a game named "Fog Of War" on the distribution platform Steam which uses assets originally found in the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault game (Published in 2002 by EA).

I do believe that EA holds the copyright to those particular assets.

It pertains the bolt-action rifle sound effects heard at timestamp 0:47 in the trailer video posted here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/691020/Fog_Of_War__Free_Edition/

in-game sounds are different and much worse

They chanced some sounds during the game's lifetime, maybe due to this copyright issues. The trailer still has the original sound effects from EA.
