crash on startup

So the main screen works fine, lets me set my orientation, primary hand etc. but then crashes when I go to play that actual game. any advice would help.

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900K @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz

Exact same thing with me. These developers really don't answer their community at all....
11700k w/ 3070 Vision & 16GB 3600MHz ram. Z490 Vision G motherboard.

I actually just got it running by running it in admin mode on win 8 compat.

I actually just got it running by running it in admin mode on win 8 compat.

Just gave that a try and no luck. Changed the executable to Windows 8 compatibility and right-clicked to run it in administration mode, still crashes. I'm actually getting an additional error in-game that says "Entitlement check failed. User must own this game to play" if I run it in admin mode.

Are you sure you didn't do anything else? I re-installed it just to try this so it's a fresh install of the game.

I've found 2 Incursion executables and I've tried changing both of them to Windows 8 compatibility.

Yeah, when I ran it from the folder I got that same error message, but when I tried launching through the steam launcher it suddenly worked.

I have the same problem.
I have tried the above method but it doesn't work.
On the other hand if I launch by steam while I have configured the EXE in admin mode and Windows 8 I have an error message at launch. Message that only appears if I launch it directly from steam
