I know this is super late, but are you still having this problem? Cause if so, I can tell you what I did to fix having both error codes 2 and 59.

Yes, pls help me, i dont have any ideia what to do...
At the time of posting my first comment, I was going to provide answers for error code 59, but it's been too long that I forgot what I did. But if error code 2 is your only problem, I can help with that.

1. Use the Control Panel to uninstall "VEGAS Pro 15.0 - Steam Powered" <-- If this doesn't work for any reason, you'll have to uninstall it manually, which may or may not bug the installer later on. If it does, tell me and I can provide instructions for that as well.
2. Right click on Vegas Pro in Steam and click Uninstall.
3. Reinstall it, but do not launch it when it is done downloading.
4. Navigate to where Steam installed it (should be ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Vegas Pro 15.0. You can also find the folder by right clicking on Vegas Pro in Steam, clicking Properties, then Local Files, then Browse Local Files)
5. Launch vegas150_x64.exe (idk if it's named differently or not for other people, but this is what the file was called for me)
6. Follow the instructions the installer gives and REMEMBER where it installs Vegas Pro to.
7. Go to where it was installed (for me, by default it installs to: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 15.0).
8. Select everything in the VEGAS Pro 15.0 folder and copy or cut the contents (these files are useless where they are, which is why you can use cut if you want).
9. Go back to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Vegas Pro 15.0 (or the folder that Steam takes you to when you clicked Browse Local Files).
10. Within the "Vegas Pro 15.0" folder is another folder called "Vegas Pro 15.0". Go into it and paste the contents you copied/cut into there.

To my understanding, it should work now. As you can see, apparently Steam doesn't realize that the software gets installed elsewhere, thus, because it doesn't know where it was installed, it just gives an error as a result. Hope this works for you, if not, sorry I got nothin else.

I know this is quite late, but does this work for it saying gpu accelerating. I've searched around, and i can't find anything to help. it gets onto it and it crashes. I can't find any solution at all
I really don't know. This solution is originally for fixing errors caused by the editor being installed in an incorrect place, and not specifically for crashes. You can try I guess, but no promises.
