When the nation calls, you have to take up your armes and defend your country against the bloody nomads, no sandbox for yuo, cowards will be excuted, understand, soldier?
ok thanks, but I'm afraid the glorious Han empire isn't going to find a lot of 'filthy pesants' to buy their game, at least according to the reviews :-)
Actually, there is a sandbox mode. You can chose either as you wish. And in story mode, you could also avoid arbitrary recruitment and skip the first chapter in the army with a payment of 2000 in which you could experience some basic tutorial and some special mission oringined in this game. The problem is that the story mode is so long that may makes you boring ,and you got some restriction in this game .Devs wants to show the real condition in ancient han dynasty .You can make money in the first scene through hunting or some other works to pay the 2000.
By the way,as you can see,Chinese players hate this game, because it's more like an uncomplished M&B mod and not for free.So I don't recomend this version if you are not a fan of M&B or Chinese culture.
The devs promised that there will be continue updates which may break savedata. So you'd better wait or just enjoy other games. The devs are a group of M&B fans. They are not professional programmers,so they have been working on this for about 8 years and their work is still like half-baked.Just can't figure out complishment of this game or M&B 2,which will come out earlier.XD
OK, thanks for the clarification. I'm a veteran Warband player, and actually I'm waiting for TW to finish Bannerlord, but in the meantime I was interested in this one, but based on what I've read and seen, I'll wait a while I think.
It took me abt 4 h to reach 400 contributons pnts,
OK, thanks, this is helpful
The address "674EA570" is contribution points. Changing the value shows up on the contribution report page. The updated contribution counts for a promotion.
It seems that getting a promotion drops contribution points back to the requirement for that promotion.
The mount and blade engine also includes cheats, one of them is for money. I didn't test this though, but I figure you could use that to pay the 2000 zhu.
edit: Seems the 2000 zhu option didn't work
