Looking forward to checking out, thanks for continuing to work on the game. I didn't like it as much as I had hoped, but fingers crossed this update will change my mind.
great update! seems like a lot of relatively small changes that all add together to make a big difference
I'm happy for the game, though I fear that some players who enjoyed the game in its original iteration may not be all that crazy about some of the changes. It might've been nice to retain a "classic Bad North mode" for them but maybe updating two parallel Bad North iterations wouldn't make sense. :)

love the game! Thanks for putting this masterpiece together for us to enjoy its cartoony enough for a 12 year old to play but violent enough to catch the 24 year old gamers eyes
Congratulations on the new update! Looks amazing. Question: When you guys say "Bad North: Jotunn Edition is the definitive version of the game " - does this mean that this is the final feature/content update?
I like it all, except maybe the checkpoint islands (it sort of betrays the whole ultra-brutal difficulty vibe) and the pooled gold.
I cant wait to hop back on my favorite game, Keep up the good work Raw Fury.

Immense game.
Archers are now too op (since they can shoot enemies outside of the boats). They are direct counter to almost anything (shields, axemen, brutes, twowields). There is almost no need to have pikemen in a group. I think it's a shame that the old red-shields were deleted (they could be the ones for which the pikemen are needed).

The game lost a huge amount of strategic element since the Jotunn patch. There is a need to weaken the knockback of arrows against shielded enemies (so archers could not kill two boats full of shields before they land). The another problem is that enemy archers are more likely to target shielded units (that just makes almost no sense).

Otherwise, new items are good, traits are good... But the buff of archers is just gamebreaking.

However, I was still hoping that the new update would bring some kind of surprise element for the last stand map (like having it twice as bigger, more enemies, some kind of boss, and allow players to take 6 squads instead of 4)
