The game lost a huge amount of strategic element since the Jotunn patch. There is a need to weaken the knockback of arrows against shielded enemies (so archers could not kill two boats full of shields before they land). The another problem is that enemy archers are more likely to target shielded units (that just makes almost no sense).
Otherwise, new items are good, traits are good... But the buff of archers is just gamebreaking.
However, I was still hoping that the new update would bring some kind of surprise element for the last stand map (like having it twice as bigger, more enemies, some kind of boss, and allow players to take 6 squads instead of 4)
