using left stick is sloppy as heck and they nerfed direct fire into bursts so its annoyingly hard to stop on a certain lane as needed
You're still better off emulating Tempest 2000 than playing this turd. Pathetic.
This game's crap. Honestly, even the limp sound effects in Tempest 4000 kind of kill it. The blaster effects are wimpy.
Seems like there are multiple keyboard keys mapped for somecontroller presses, at least 'A' is mapped to the A key as well as Enter and 'B' seems to be mapped to the B key and F.
Even for modern Atari this seems badly implemented to the point of being disrespectful, and I bought that Haunted House: Cryptic Graves for full price, so I'm use to their disrespect.

Why the hell pause isn't assigned to the start button of the gamepad like every other game released in the last three decades, including TxK on the Vita/PSTV is beyond me.
THAT'S HOW I WANT TO PLAY IT !!!
List your pc specifications and perhaps someone may be able to help you out. There is a file in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Tempest4000_Savedata which probably contains your keyboard mapping preference. The file updates when you hit 'Accept and Exit'. Perhaps you could use someone elses.
Reply with your keyboard mapping preferences.
