Emote wheel stuck open

Opened the game to find emote wheel open, using switch pro controller and keyboard and cannot close the emote wheel using either.

Please go to the controls menu and check the input settings.
If you see DirectInput as an option set it to 0 (XInput also).
While you're at it, disable Steam Input as well (in the game's controls menu) to see if the issue disappears.
(If you dont see some of those options it means no controller has been found on that driver.)

Try unplugging the controller also, and remap the emote keyboard and controller buttons to some other buttons.

My guess would be that the emote is per default on a left trigger (analog) button but the game reads it as constantly being pressed.
