Tool Assignments
Hi All!
I was wondering if anyone knows which professions these tools are supposed to assist with? I keep going back and forth in my head, so I thought I would ask:

-Chisel (stone mason?)
-Carving Knife (carpenter?)
-Tongs (blacksmith? but there is also a hammer?)

Side Note, in case the developer reads this: It would be nice if, when you change someone's profession, the associated workshop gets it's Occupants list updated as well. I created a cook, but he wasn't cooking anything since it already had 3 people assigned. Had to manual adjust.

Thanks for any input! Great game!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to fix up that reassignment issue you came across. :)

Best way to find out which tool is for which skill is to assign the tool to someone, wait for them to pick one up, then select the person, open the Entity Info and see what bonuses they have. It’ll be the third one in the list of bonuses, right below the unarmed jab, and the attack using the weapon. The tooltip for the weapon has a different icon to indicate which profession it helps with, but it’s difficult to distinguish between them. The Entity Info screen has the same icon, but you can hover over it to see another tooltip with actual words.

There’s not much point in giving them multiple 1–handed tools either, since they just pick at random between them. Maybe if you have one guy assigned to two jobs; I haven’t tried that.
click control and hover over the item, it will show you what still buffs.
also you can equip books in order to buff several skills like cooking and farming-
What tool does a Sheppard use as i cannot find one that resembles the skill icon..?
