Mob loot
So, killed a mob and they dropped a bag (Stoneleaf Bag), but I can't get rid of it - I am able to remove the items in it, but can't do anything with the bag itself. It does not show up in inventory, so can't do anything that way either...

Also, based on the game's description, I wasn't expecting mobs to simply appear out of thin air to kidnap my peeps - was sort of thinking (and hoping) that I'd have to tunnel into their cave system or they would come from 'off map' and attack. Simply appearing in my underground barracks and kidnapping one of my armed soldiers seems a bit, well, wacky.

The 'loot' job should get rid of that bag.

There are many events that will happen unrelated to underground stuff. Largely dependent on the area you settle, though.

I think by default everyone has the loot job and the bag was still there after a few days (in game) - does it take awhile?

Also, that was two very different maps where an enemy spawned in underground in an area with only one way in or out - and that was the main entrance I mined out. Both bases were in a peaceful area as I wanted to get a feel for the game first.

I'm enjoying the game, but these are small quibbles that I've noticed.

No problem - thanks for the fun game!

I haven't played in a few months, but the loot bag plays like a container. The NPCs will loot the container but the container stays there empty. The only way I got rid of it was to deconstruct it.

Yeah, I've resorted to doing that now...

Do you actually tell them to loot it with the little key icon thingy in the orders menu? It always vanishes for me if they loot it via a loot order rather than just automatically emptying it themselves.

Also, enemies don't actually spawn out of thin air. I thought they did too until I actually managed to spot one sneaking its way slowly towards my fort (they're mostly transparent during this sneak until they actually reach the person they're targeting, and are hard to see as a result -- especially if you're zoomed out). They even show up on the map, but their icons are yellow like everyone else's, so it's honestly really hard to notice them before they strike. There's also no notification to their spawn until, again, they actually start to kidnap someone.

Try ordering it manually then. The bag should disappear. You can still order them to do so even when there's nothing in it (although that's about the same as just telling them to deconstruct it I guess, lol)
