No image on starting the game

Hey guys!

I just bought the game and find myself unable to boot it. Or more precisely, it boots alright with the music starting, the cursor changing and apparently being able to interact with the main menu; but there is no image. By no image I don't mean a black screen, just plain nothing, I'm still on my desktop.

I tried deactivating the Steam overlay and starting the game in windowed mode but nothing changed. Anyone experienced the same issue?

Uhhhh. Never seen this before. Can you mail your output_log.txt file to me: It's found at the same location as where the game is downloaded inside the OddRealm_Data folder. For me, it's something like:
E:\SteamGames\steamapps\common\Odd Realm\OddRealm_Data\output_log.txt
