How do you defeat the desert boss? (Spoilers)
Tried to defeat the crusader dude at the end of the desert, and despite having every debuff under the sun and an 18-20 turn heavy bleed effect, he's basically untouchable, even though my character's weapon skill is around 30. Should I be having double the weapon skill to defeat him?

My strategy:
1. As soon as you arrive at the desert, ignore everything else and spend 95% of the time to grind your stats. Agility and Endurance will be important
2. Stock up as much consumables as you can, especially canteen and waterskin
3. During the battle, watch out for his stamina. The lower his stamina, the higher your hit rate is. So stay defensive until his stamina is low.
4. Pray and savescum :3

a shield helps, not getting your shield destroyed helps too - for as long as you have it, try to stun him with the shield bash to drop his defense to nothing for a turn
poison, it's the first battle that made me apply a poison

How do you grind agility and endurance stats? After carrying a shield and having some basic armour, both of mine are always under 5 points
How many days are you going thru the dessert? At day 15 some bandit scum attacked me and when I proceed to fight I get an error (exception has occured) and I'm not able to continue anyhow in the game ... so awesome when I'm playing HWR mode

The funny thing is you can actually train your stats. At first I didn't realize that and is struggling hard. Kinda remind me when I was playing elden ring, I couldn't meet Melina because I didn't rest at the stupid grace so in the first few hours I was fighting Margit when he can two shots me which is not a pleasant experience.

The best strategy to all difficult enemies in this game is crossbow. It's just stupidly op, not affected by stamina nor stance, 100% hit chance and ignore armor when you have a high crossbow skill. Using arbalest, two shots in the neck pretty much can kill all the bosses in this game
Thanks for the tips.
I did manage to beat him barely by unequipping all my heavy armor, shieldbashing him before he broke my shield, and doing limb slashes until he bled to death.

Yeah you're definitely missing an important mechanic to the game Syndor lmao

When in the "Train" section, click on any skill, it'll train it. A bit of exhaustion for an immediate stat boost. Generally can train 4 points without a rest. Once you get money, train 4, or 1 and 1 weapon skill, then use the bathhouse, rinse and repeat
