Couple of questions about the romances in this game

So, 'maxing out' a girl's approval just unlocks pinups, right? The protag doesn't actually get to do the deed with her?

Secondly, anyone know if there are endings/actual routes with any of the girls, or is our hero just having flings across Europe?

Well it is implied that you've spent some time together (if you know what i mean) but I did not want to go into too many details.

Olivia, Emma and, to a lesser extent, Lina have their dedicated endings (some even more than one). Other girls can be considered flings of sorts, yeah.
I originally wanted all of them to have their own ending and, hopefully, I will add that with content patches.

Desperately need one for good girl Eva on the France path and may be have Cecilia the medic stay with the main character's group on either path.

yes i really like the options to have dedicated endings , go back to france to marry eva/flee with anna , would be cool.

Besides pin-ups in your memory bank, a few of the women also give you gifts:

Cecilia gives you a Plague Mask
Eva gives you a Red Stone Ring
Alyssa gives you a Personal Battle Standard
Anna gives you a Pentacle Shield Pendant
Olivia gives you a lovely stay in her jail cells....

Lina and Emma don't give you anything though.

Eva will also give you "oath" which honestly should have a hidden bonus and/or be required to get an ending with her. The stat bonuses are too easy to lose through training (as last I checked the bonus counts towards your training limit) for an object that breaks on removal.

The Oath is given to you upon completing the Promise quest (not through reaching 100 relationship with her).

No, trinket stat boosts do NOT count towards your training limit.

In 1.06, I had to remove stat boosting trinkets to train the last couple points. Haven't had a chance to play 1.07 yet so I'm not sure if that got changed this update.

I know that crafting did (not sure about this most recent update) certainly count toward the crafting skill limit. Anyways, I need my Alyssa ending, damn it

I managed to dig out the training stat caps per Chapter in the game code. I put the info in the Training Cap section of the guide. Hopefully it will be useful to folks. :)

And yes, we need an Alyssa ending!
