Well, you have a Steam account and over 600 games.
And on the other side I have an Origin, Uplay, GoG, Epic, Blizzard and Nintendo Account...
But what my post was about is not that steam is bad, but that valve can't develop games anymore and if they buy indies it looks like they destroy them too...
They still can sell great games from other publishers very well...
I did not.
I said: "no second game by Campo Santo... no news since then... but the rumor about game paused"
And I say, that I think that if Campo Santo would be still independet we would have at least more news and prob. even a releasedate.
Interesting ! Any source please ?
Oh, ok. That's old news, then. The issue is that, since several months, no news, and the official trailer has even been deleted from Youtube. For a game which is supposed to be released in the next 7 months, that's not very reassuring.
Yeaaaaah, this probably would have been their fate regardless (with the possible exceptions of Nintendo and Microsoft).
EA has literally no idea what their customers want and is just a complete mess of a company at this point.
Sony... eh, maybe. They do have some good third-party games, but most of the third-party studios they've bought seem to just be working on miscellaneous projects that no one knows or cares about.
Don't know enough about Epic to judge.
let's check how EA handle the Indie-Publisher work:
https://www.ea.com/ea-originals
Unravel 1 and 2, A Way Out, Fe, Sea of Solitude...
Let's Check Epic (oh my, where to start)
Observation, Hades, The Sinking City, Close to Sun and many more Indie-Games where they put money into (yeah, with exclusive deals but... at least we can play the games)
With Sony... yeah maybe... not know about console releases tbh but... there are releases!
