any jumpscare?

but this game looks interesting soo.. any jumpscare?

There are some quick-flash images that pop up on screen. They aren't really scary images by themselves, but it might startle you a bit. They are mostly just near the beginning, though.

This is a psychological sort of game, it isn't really ever scary, but it goes to some dark places in the story.

Yeah, this is more of a psychological horror thing than a "startle you with scary images" thing. And it is awesome. :D

Very mild jumpscares. Like Tedra said, images flash onto the screen during a couple parts and it can be a little startling. But there's no, like... loud screaming sounds or horrific images popping up.

There are a few borderline jumpscares, but they're not "screamers" as in randomly adding loud noises to unnecessarily make you flinch. Though there is one point fairly early in the game where the volume balance on a "scary things are happening!" music track is pretty loud when it cuts in, which is the nearest to a screamer the game gets.

Sometimes you'll get an image flicker on the screen but it is used more as a 'mental flashback' moment for the protagonists stressed mind. Very early on there is one of them that is almost a startle-scare but it kind of announces itself ahead of time, letting you know to brace for spookiness rather than just startle you cheaply. Handled pretty well, IMO.

The horror aspect is largely in tension.

Jumpscare is to begin with based on personal matters anyway, like "Scary"... If you are one of these People(like me) who can lose themself in such Games, even 2D Anime/Comic Horrorgames can scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of you(while i have to say in TD i'm not that far into it - so i don't can claim how scary/jumpscare it is - but as example Detention ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up due how scary it was. Knock Knock had also some pretty scary moments)
