The game is quite challenging. I had the same problem in the first days of playing but when you began to understand how it works, it's really fun to play.
If you want to know it, first join Discord and call on the general channel.
I will send you a link soon.
Progorion knows there is a way and doesn't ban it, but cheats shouldn't be published in public more than necessary ;)
Use cheat engine, but put unknown value and then click first scan
After, loose money, and put decreased value and click on next scan, repeat until there is 1 or 2 value (the same) and put one or two zero at the end
If you are interested, I can share with you a cheat to do it inside the game. Just friend me and send me a text message on the steam client :)
How is it even possible to consistently lose money on the lowest difficulty?
As long as you don't try to build everything all in one place and pay attention to the absolute basics explained in the tutorial then you'll be finishing off the Personal Computer era techs before the end of the 1970's and just dominating all competition without having to even do more than release one product every 3-4 years.

Do think I found a slight bug by mistake that causes locked market countries to assign max LP and starts selling your products to that countries, as USSR should still be a closed market.
But all that really did was push my 80-85% market dominance into the 90% range.
Income in that campaign is currently lower because I just upgraded one of my factories to level 5 to meet the 23-25 million PP need spikes that occur whenever I launch a new product due to the sheer demand dominance.
Additional costs were brought on by the USSR bug forcing me to have to massively ramp logistics up as the bug maxes out LP investment in the country with no ability to adjust it.
