Hardtime 3D for windows 10

Can anyone help me with getting the 3D windows 10 version of Hardtime. I am having a really hardtime with getting the game working. The error that I'm getting is an application error.

I'm having the same issue. It works on my laptop, but not my desktop for some reason.

Play in windowed mode, thats what I keep hearing. Really you should've stuck with windows 7 for a few more years until windows 11 or whatever.

That doesn't help if you can't launch the game at all.

The application error is (0xc0000022) I'm trying to find the file that is giving the error but still haven't found anything..

I have windows 10 64 bit here
Try this and it should now work
1 control panel
2 click Turn Windows features on or off
3 select Legacy Componets also select Direct Play then ok
4 select Hard Time (Windowed) exe

Or, you could open Hardtime.exe and then ctrl+alt+delete and open task manager. Then close task manager and open hardtime again. Some pictures in the hud might be pink, same with the menu, but its absolutely fine there-on-out.

my pc is a gaming pc can run gta 5 finely but hardtime (the 3D one) gets 3 fps and crashed my pc lol
