Especially high resolution displays may struggle with fullscreen, so you should consider switching to “Windowed” or “Low Resolution” visuals to keep performance high during busy scenes. Please note that the 2D games can be changed via the in-game options, so no hacks are required! You can even toggle to and from windowed mode by hitting the 'W' key at any time.

Alternatively, you could reduce the “Population” to keep the character count within what your display can handle.

Please note that Mac users may need to restart the game to apply a different fullscreen resolution.

Mate by any chance. Could you help me with getting Hardtime 3D version to work for my pc? I'm getting an application error and the game won't even start up. I have windows 10. I tried running as adimistrator everything. Nothing works.

Instead of giving us tips maybe fix the damn fps? Sorry but when I'm trying to record WR3D (haven't even bothered trying Hard Time) the fps is down to 9! I love your work and I will support you but come on!

I'm fine with it TBH. It's not like Low Res is complete garbage and it's not like Hi Res transforms this game into GTA. It doesn't impact gameplay at all. So ♥♥♥♥ it.

Dev, you might have been better off not having a hi-res option at all. Just windowed or fullscreen.

It's good you are trying to give us tips how to make the game work better but, the hard time 2d has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 9-11 fps and i got an high end pc my specs are: rx 560, amd atholon x845,8gb ram. I mean i love this game but 9-11 fps is not good

I am a big fan of you're games but the fps is just horrible but does anyone know when wrestling revoultion 2d is coming out because it was ment to come out, 18/12/17 but it is near jaunuary :(

I actually want fps but I know Mat would not do it the latest game Mat release old school is 30 fps and I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 144hz monitor and I have a very good pc

and thx for the video It worked and I wish there was a mod that let you uncap the fps

Thats really annoying. Did Mat not even make Old School 60 fps? Wrestling Empire has the "smooth" option for 60 fps after a patch.

Yeah, to clarify I didn't make the video but Seal in the description shouts out my old username of DekuSlate. I've been in the community a long time so I've seen this video used a couple times by people and it always makes me happy that SimoSimo was able to find a great workaround for his older games that I then made people a bit more aware of. Glad to know it helped you out btw! <3

Guys another workaround is turning your gamespeed up to 130 it feels smoother and runs better.

really. nice but why 130 hz specifically? I don't think there is a monitor that is 130hz
