AVG antivirus won't allow me to play the game

What a joke. It gives me a warning and locks the exe file. Maybe learn how to do things right devs?

Confirmed. Avast reports the same.

This is so aggressive and ignorant. I have the same issue, but dozens of steam games also have this. I know avast can lock up your PC just for launching GTA5. OP learn your ♥♥♥♥... this is a fairly common issue. Make an exception in your anti virus like a normal person.

you guys should not be using AVG or Avast anyways.. its a cpu hog. and if you have not deactivated windows defender it will only get worse. just uninstall AVG or Avast and only use windows defender, which is on by default and does the job good enough.

I agree OP is being overly aggressive on this, but it should not be common to make exceptions in your antivirus.

That's strange. I have tons of games played and this is the first time i've received a warning. So "common" is not so common.
