Can you instantly unlock the entire tech tree?

So I was watching a review. It all went well until the tech tree was mentioned, where you earn points after each game played. I have absolutely 0 interest to grind in an RTS in order to unlock new toys. I don't remember doing that in C&C Red Alert 2 or C&C Generals Zero Hour or C&C 3 Tiberium Wars. What were they thinking???

Please tell me there is an option or cheat to instantly unlock the tech tree.

No, but you also cant use all of it at once, you pick and choose, so its not that grindy if you know what you wanna work towards it, its been well balanced so you can get the things you want fast and get everything eventualy.

As I said, that is not how I played and enjoyed the games above. I was not given bits of the game after I spent a mandatory ammount of time in it. Once I hit the "skirmish" button I had everything in the game and only skill mattered.

Yeh this is the biggest issue atm i feel. Locking the tree behind a grind has no positives at all. IT will most probably push people away from the game than keep them playing. When cool unit combos are held behind grind it gets boring fast. Its basicly saying " hey plays 50 teir 1 games to get to teir 2 games" Why? because ..... yeh no good reason.

Just to let you know we're currently reviewing the tech unlock process and if deemed necessary we can look at changing the unlock values!

Why not be able to have some advanced settings like in supreme commander 2?

@tazor , just seach on internet some cheat to unlock all, i am pretty sure it's exist.

Dunno if you're still looking for this, but you 'can' use Cheat-engine to do it I believe, I forgot precisely 'how' it worked, i think i remember having some challenges involved, but if you grind up a decent chunk, say, enough to unlock 10 or so different things, you should be able to search the research points value, and update it for every change to try and find the right entry, then just change it to have more points.
