3 spare stars

I've 100% completed the game and bought every weapon and gear item, but I have 3 spare stars left over. Is that normal?

Towards the end I was counting the number of levels I had left and how much I needed for the last few guns and I swear it was going to add up right, but then after the second to last level I had 10 stars and only needed 10 for the last gun, so when I finished the final level it gave me 3 stars with nothing to spend them on.

I checked every character and haven't missed any item. I was using the Re-balance mod for a while there but that doesn't make any changes to stars or gear costs.

Does anyone else have 3 stars left over after buying everything or did something glitch out in just my game?

Hi,

not a glitch. There are more stars than the total required for unlock all items. So the player can unlock all equipments even if some level is still not 3 starred.

There are literally only 3 more stars than you need then. Are there plans for more levels so that there's a bigger surplus? Another 12 level chapter would give much more leeway for players to miss stars and still unlock everything.

Hmm, i think DK Action Squad was developed by PixelShard (represented by Mike D here on forum) and KillHouse Games together, but not sure if he is helping with DK2.

Probably he is still working on DK Action Squad stuff, maybe for other platforms or maybe hunting bugs ?
And DK2 i think is developed only by KillHouse Games.
