When adding new strings you have to add them at the end of the file and not change the order of the old items. That will fix the first problem.

Anyway, if you want me to give it a look just tell me the name of the mod (after you fix the strings). I can still see it even if it's hidden, so don't worry about that.

Alright, thanks for helping me out fix the first problem! For the second problem, it seems to have been fixed, but I have no idea why.

Alright, thanks for helping me out fix the first problem! For the second problem, it seems to have been fixed, but I have no idea why.

I had the same issue. The recent game update fixed the problem.

How exactly should I structure my mods? As in; right now I have it set up so I have two media folders: media-mod and media, whenever I need to mod or make an update, I change media-mod to media, and media to media-og. Can I just make an entirely separate media folder (without needing to change its name everytime)?

How do you delete doors and objects please and clearing mouse pointer when you have something chosen.
Need a guide for things like this , cheers, so that we know what keys do what.

they have updated with new weapons but i only got the weapon they were uploaded with and not the updated ones.

Usually the right mouse button does the "de-select/select" command. In order to delete doors just go in the "Objects" mode, select the door and press "Delete" on your keyboard. Don't forget to delete the collision box too (it asks you if you want to delete it so click Yes)

No you can't, but you can copy the entire game into a different folder and just make the changes there.

I cant be doing somethign right as right click wont delete objects/props for me.
Deleting a vehicle etc.

What we need is a slow type video showing a step by step making a small level, together with how to add/delete things and other things. The main map making i can see how to do, but there are several things that are not that apparant.

Right click only selects the item. To delete it press the "Del" key on your keyboard.
We'll try to add a video tutorial soon.

IMPORTANT: We added the 7th Weekly Challenge in version 1.0.16 so if your mod stops working it just might be because we updated the strings file.

Is any chance to make the editor more user friendly in the future? I start to understand all the basics,but i admit is a bit confusing right now.

For example how i fit the occluder rooms? Sometimes dont fit below and the feet of enemies can be seen.

The more easy to use the more levels will fill the workshop.

You can easily adjust the size using the arrows and ctrl and shift. Look at the status bar in the editor as it gives you a lot of info.

If i have even the default map open in the editor and right click on the vehicle (or any item/prop) , delete key does not delete it.
I have by trial and error (not really sure what i am doing) managed to delete on or two, but there is always a copy of it left on the mouse pointer.

What i am doing wrong is probably straightforward IF i knew what i was doing wrong i expect.

I shall await an informative video :), as i say it is small things that arent clear, the main level
making no problem.

When you have the copy of the deleted item/promp selected right click in the objects window (the tiny window on your right) the higlighted red square will dissapear and done.
