Are there other games like this?

As the title says are there any like this, I have it on console, and had a crazy good time with a buddy, we were surprised by how good it was.

There's a game floating around the internet called Lode Runner The Mad Monks Revenge that you can download for free. It has a fourplayer mode adn is SUPER fun.

not a hero remember seeing it awhile back its a similar 2d run and gun. havn't played it myself

I think there was a game that came with xbox gold a while back called 'the last station' or something like that. more of a linear single player game but with similar gameplay. I enjoyed it a lot.

Bro force but it lacks allot of the amazing leveling features this game has, bro force is to randomized while some can enjoy that, it is allot of different playstyles to force yourself to be adjusted to.

Maybe Jydge or Gunpoint? Gunpoint doesn't have co-op though. And isn't quite the same. Just a couple of suggestions.

Did bro force, Its chaotic.. and has its charm, but its nothing like this game, 80/90's cop music, semi quasi tactical gameplay, pick up and play, each operator is like a whole ball park and when you play coop, you get this sweet amalgamation of play styles. Gets to the point that it feels like playing an instrument.

Sorry for that weird description but, it honestly feels that way. Ill be checking them titles said here out.

And Dev if you are reading this, I hope there is a sequel you have something here.

JYDGE , NEON CHROME, BROFORCE, HELLDIVERS are all good options for co-op shortburst action games.

Well got Last Station, beat it, it was awesome. Got Not A Hero and Dead Bolt & both are fantastic, thanks for the suggestions everyone ya'll are amazing.

Terribly Necro-ing of me to post to this thread years later; however, wanted to note that "The Scramble Vice" has some sections where you hop out of your Roboco-ish drone for side-scrolling battles on foot -- shown in its gameplay trailer -- that are a bit reminiscent of Door Kickers Action Squad.
