No tutorials yet (and I'm unsure we'll have the time to do it), but if you open one of the maps from the the game you'll eventually catch on.
Workshop support will be coming soon, you'll have the chance to share your maps with the entire world then.
Later edit:
To play/edit:
- go to where the game is installed, usually something like
D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Door Kickers - Action Squad\media\levels\missions
- open the editor and choose a map from that folder, the tilesets will be loaded automatically
Now you can either modify a map from the original game, or save it as a new map.
Let's say you save it as a newmap: mycoolmap.dkas
To see it in game, open missions.xml and add it like <Mission nChapter="6" nLevel="3" sSource="mycoolmap.dkas" />
We'll probably just write some succinct technical stuff together with the Workshop update, but the community has always done it better.
Ahhh there isnt any way of testing a map we make yet right now ? (i realise not long to official launch)
Great editor btw and seems powerful but easy to use.

Once we add workshop support this will be much easier.
