How do batteries work? Not about the stats, but the "use"....
I see Uses:5
- Does this mean i can equip and unequip them 5 times before they are lost?
- Does this is also mean that batteries are being in use just aslong as they are equipped?

The uses are reduced when you reset. So you can use that battery until your fifth reset, then it's destroyed.

Nope, only equipped batteries are used up. When you unequip them, they get destroyed too.

Batteries lose a 'use' upon Transfer or Unequiping, and a battery with 1 'use' which is unequiped will be destroyed automatically with no WP for breaking.To make the most of batteries, unequipe while at 2 uses near the end of a run (before Transfer) so that you can still break for some WP.

I know you didn't ask for an advice, but it is useful to always have at least 2 batteries with several charges of bonus cargo spent and use them whenever you spend some big amount of cargo, this improves progress a lot. Perhaps this will be useful for somebody.

Thats unfortunatly not true anymore. The massive level nerf to batties means that the % is much lower. It may still be 'ok' in early career, but I would wager now that by the time you can start leveling the first feature for it, or maybe after starting on 2nd, it wont really be worth the cost anymore when compared to just spamming WP.

This is actually very true, especially for those who have played for less than 2 months total and not yet unlocked more than 1 or 2 features with bonus cargo spent. Therefore 70-100% bonus from each battery makes a major boost. Even if you already have 500% in bonus cargo spent from features, 150-200% from batteries is still nice.

ok when do you use batteries?i have 2 purple weapons, 3 purple ammo gens + 1 blue, de rest are green TB's.
Weapons are lvl 18, the devices all lvl 20.

So, batteries: do i focus on lvl-ing devices and weapons, or do i focus on the upgrade delivery tab? Or is it the batteries who should have a prio?

I'll tell what i did. After most features unlocked and settled since the last reset, it takes days between i spend cargo on something, for this i use batteries, because they doubled the amout of cargo, which goes to SP. Currently, i don't rely on them much, because i have higher bonus features, but no matter what level and quality items i had, i always had at least 2-4 batteries and used them once in a couple days when spending all accumulated cargo.
If you had asked about what items you should better use, i would recommend using 6x TB of any quality you can find and then begin leveling all items. But consider i said nothing because you didn't ask about it. :)

it is always good to have some advice! I do have 6 TB's (all green). Think i am focussing to get a purple ammo generator first :)
About the batteries: i have never used them, so that is why i asked other for opinions. Especially now I am on a higher level, i do not see why i should use them... But again, advice is always welcome :)

Why batteries... imagine you have 0% in bonus cargo spent. Now you add 2 batteries 65% each for a total of 130% bonus cargo spent. You spend 1e12 cargo on something, but your sentinel gains 2.3e12 instead. This helps progress a lot faster.

Save Breaker / Bug Factory break battery usage. Anyone below those features will benifit.

I have almost 13,500% bonus atm. (save breaker+bug factory)
Pre-nerf would be around 600% each
Post-nerf now about 100% each
Pre-nerf relative total increase = +8.8%
Post-nerf relative total increase = +1.4%

Take off those 2 features (so I still have other weak ones).

I have almost 250% bonus. (mid game)
Pre-nerf would be around 600% each
Post-nerf now about 100% each
Pre-nerf relative total increase = +580%
Post-nerf relative total increase = +180%

Isaac is absolutely right on in his assessment. All I can really say is make the most of your 'uses' by waiting until you hit a wall you cannot break, then save for a few days, or a week, and use the batteries ONE time. Then Reset. You'll save MP and be able to make the best of both worlds.

i left the game on overnight with 2 6use batteries and 800T cargo later the batteries are still there , it says they have 1 use left but i must have done a hell of a lot more than 6 transfers.
is this a bug ?
